No Added Colorants

Did you know that ingredients are nearly always added to chicken feed to make the yolks a consistent yellow or orange color? This includes synthetic dyes like apo-ester and natural ingredients like marigold and paprika. Merry Natural does not add any colorants to its feed, even the natural ones. We love having naturally varying yolk color and knowing when hens are foraging for or eating other than their feed.
